Sourcing lets you find contacts from criteria and review them in a results table in the chat. Open Sourcing in the left navigation, then describe who you want. The table previews rows while score, fit, and why now are still being written, then lets you unlock contacts and place them on a deal or a pipeline. Saved and unsaved filters keep a long result set workable.
Previewing results
The results table opens in the Sourcing chat as soon as the first rows are ready. While research is still running, the title starts with Preview, the subtitle reads Writing why now, fit, and score…, and the footer reads Scoring contacts…. A row that is still open shows Researching score in the Score column, and hovering the company shows Researching why now…. Remove stays unavailable until that preview finishes, and pipeline actions stay disabled with it.
When the table completes, the title changes to Found and each row shows a Score. Hover the score to read fit, and hover the company to read why now. If more rows are still arriving, the subtitle reads Still researching and names how many of the expected rows are on screen, and the footer reads Researching up to the remaining count. A follow-up that fails keeps the rows already shown.
Filtering results
Filter tabs above the table split the same results into saved and unsaved contacts.
- Show every row — Click All.
- Show saved contacts — Click Saved for contacts that are already unlocked and in your CRM.
- Show unsaved contacts — Click Unsaved for rows that are still locked.
- Select rows — Use the row checkbox, or Select all. The table shows how many are selected.
Unlocking contacts
Unlock writes the contact into your CRM and fills email and phone. How the value is chosen is covered in how enrichment applies a value.
- Unlock every locked row — Click Unlock all when no locked rows are selected.
- Unlock a subset — Select locked rows, then click Unlock selected.
- Watch the cells — Empty Email and Phone cells read Enriching while values are applied, and further matches show as a + count that opens Emails or Phone numbers.
- Open the contact — The name links to the contact once a CRM record exists, and an In CRM mark shows on rows already in your CRM.
Unlock also saves fit and why now as notes on the contact and the company.
Actions from the table
Unlocked contacts can be placed on a deal or a pipeline from the results table. You can also create the pipeline from that same action.
Adding contacts to a deal
Unlocked contacts can be placed on a deal from the Deals column or from the bulk action.
- Add one contact — In Deals, click Select deals and choose the deal.
- Add the unlocked set — Click Add to deal.
A contact needs a company before it can be placed. With no rows selected, Add to deal includes every unlocked contact; a selection limits it to the unlocked contacts you checked. After the contact is on the deal, the toast action is View outreach.
Adding contacts to a pipeline
Unlocked contacts can join a pipeline you already have.
- Open the picker — Click Add to pipeline, which includes every unlocked contact when no rows are selected.
- Choose a pipeline — Select it in the list under Search pipelines….
Creating a pipeline
Open Add to pipeline on the unlocked contacts when you need a pipeline that does not exist yet. Leads pipeline setup is covered in Leads pipeline.
- Start the pipeline — Click Create new pipeline.
- Name it — Enter a Pipeline name, then click Create pipeline.
Suggested next step
After the contacts are ready, the chat offers one suggested next step under the table. The line reads: Your contacts are ready! Add them to a pipeline or launch a campaign with AI-drafted outreach that converts. The action under that line is Create a campaign.
Click Create a campaign to send that prompt in the same Sourcing chat. The suggestion disappears after you send it. The contacts stay on the table after the prompt is sent.
Campaigns — build and launch the campaign from Create a campaign.
